Government
The Kingdom of Rambai is both the Head of State and Head of Government. He rules the nation as Kingdom and Prime Minister, presiding over all the country. While the King directly governs the regions of Rambai, he has appointed the traditional head of the Dekkan, the Rajpramukh, as Governor of the Dekkan.
The Privy Council is the made up of the closest advisors to the King. This includes the Lord Chamberlain (HM's Chief of Staff and Personal Representative), the Senior Noble, the Chief Justice of the High Court, the Lord Spiritual (who also holds a position on the Council of Nobles) and any Privy Counsellor's.
The Council of Ministers, which the King presides over as Prime Minister, is the executive branch or Cabinet that adminstrates the various ministries of the government and is resonsible for the creation and implemetation of government policies. The Ministers of each Ministry and their Vice-Minister are part of this council. The senior minister's are known as the Inner Cabinet while the Vice-Ministers are known as the Outer Cabinet.
The Council of Nobles is the largest advisory body to the King. All nobles are memebrs andare appointed by the King. It is presided over by the Senior Noble, who is the noble who has held his peerage for the longest period of time. A exception is when the noble holding the most senior peerage turns it down, so then it travels to the second-most senior noble.
